Last Saturday Kirk and I headed to Milwaukee for a Brewers game. It was a gorgeous day! We decided to have lunch downtown in the historic Third Ward on the river. We came across The Milwaukee Ale House. Kirk had a stout that was dark and rich in flavor, just like he likes them. He had the steak tenderloin sandwich and I had the pot roast sandwich. Both sandwiches were so good and the fries some of the best I have ever had. We watched the boats on the river and the people loading and unloading on the dock. The town was buzzing as people were celebrating the end of Summerfest.

Boats can pull up and dock and unload for lunch or dinner.
Isn't he handsome!
After enjoying downtown we headed over to Miller Park to watch the Brewers and Reds for a 6:10 game. Kirk bought the tickets on line before we left home and could not get two seats together in the whole stadium. Our seats were two rows apart and after some time were able to sit together. We left in the 8th inning with the game tied 3 to 3. Unfortunately the Brewers ended up losing.
This picture was taken before the seats started filling up.
The sausage race. This is a big deal.
So much fun with my love!
