Sushi

A couple of weeks ago friends of ours, Shane and Christine, took us out to eat sushi. I enjoy sushi but never know what to order so usually I have someone who knows what they are doing order it. The restaurant we went to was called Japango. We had been there one other time right after we moved here. So when Shane and Christine mentioned sushi and Japango we were excited!

Shane ordered the food and we were absolutely in food heaven. I had to take a picture of the food. As you can see we had a feast and it was so good!

And this was only part of it. We still had three other smaller plates on the table!

The food, as I said, was amazing but the company was even better. Shane and Christine are dear friends of ours. Kirk had the honor of performing their wedding last December. We met Shane our first year here after he moved to Boulder. A friend of his told him about Kirk and a new church that was being planted in Boulder and he gave us a call. We were having a going away party that evening for friends who were moving to England and we invited him to come over. We didn't scare him off (funny story attached to that statement) and he has been a part of our lives ever since.

We got to know Christine the year leading up to All Souls official launch. We were worshiping in the summer on Sunday evenings and since she and Shane were dating, and he was leading our worship, she was coming up to Boulder from Denver to worship with us. It is so cool to see how God weaves together relationships in our lives and this one has been a sweet blessing to me. I am privileged to have her as my friend.
