Meet Katie, Russ and Eliot. Katie and Russ are dear friends of ours from St. Louis. They are in the process of adopting Eliot from Guatemala. They started their journey last May when Eliot was born. They thought the adoption would be finalized by September or October. That has not been the case. Katie left to go down to Guatemala as she could not stand to be away from her son any longer, vowing to stay until she could bring him home. She is still there and even though she is experiencing great joy at being with her son, she is also experiencing great frustration at the system that keeps her down there. I wanted you to meet this family so you could be praying for them. Please pray that the paperwork will be processed quickly and the adoption finalized so she can take Eliot home to be with his Daddy, two dogs and all the people who are eagerly awaiting his arrival!
